Marble Chips

Marble is one of the well known non foliated metamorphic rocks which are widely used in construction of houses and buildings. Marble is formed due to the metamorphism of limestone and it is composed mainly of calcium carbonate CaCO3. The term "marble" is informally used to denote various other stones, which are capable of producing a high shine. Marble chips are small products of marble, which are available in various shapes and sizes. These marble chips are widely used by people in the construction of floor. They lend the floor an enchanting look along with protecting it from wearing out. They are most effective, when they are used in bathroom floors as they prevent slipping. So it is better to use them, where there is a danger of slipping.
