Faux marble is also known as false marble and it is a good alternative for real marble. Due to high prices of marble, people usually go for faux marble as it is cost effective. Producing a faux marble is a sophisticated process, as it must imitate the real marble in both appearance as well as texture. The best way of producing a faux marble is by applying several layers of superlative paints on a white board, wall or even furniture. Thou it takes time but the results are worth it.
